A Political, Entrepreneur and a Philanthropic Family- Dick and Betsy De Vos

Betsy DeVos started her career as a politician and an activist at a very young age. I first engaged myself in politics when I was still a student at Calvin College, and I have been able to remain dynamic until now. For six years I held the position of a chairlady at the Michigan Republican Party, and I have been involved in a variety of party organizations, campaigns as well as political movements committee. The transformation runs in our family, in the 2006 my husband Dick DeVos was nominated by the Republican Party to run for the governor’s position for Michigan. We are also involved in business, and our aim is to look for advanced resolutions to issues affecting people socially. My husband and I founded Windquest Group, a company that has capitalized in clean energy, technology as well as the manufacturing industry. Besides business and politics, i am involved in charitable and non-profitable activities. I am the chairlady of the Dick and Betsy DeVos Family Foundation a charity.
